Associate Attorney, Labor & Employment

Our client is seeking a Labor & Employment Litigation Associate to join a growing and collaborative labor and employment practice in Las Vegas. This opportunity is well suited for an attorney with 3+ years of litigation experience who is looking to deepen their employment law skillset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle employment litigation matters throughout the litigation lifecycle, including:
    • Drafting and responding to initial pleadings
    • Managing written discovery
    • Taking and defending depositions
    • Drafting and arguing dispositive and non-dispositive motions
    • Participating in mediation and other alternative dispute resolution processes
  • Represent employers in matters pending in federal and state courts as well as before administrative agencies
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on litigation strategy and case management
  • Advise clients on a range of day-to-day employment law issues, including:
    • Drafting and revising employee handbooks and workplace policies
    • Providing guidance on compliance, training, and risk management
  • Assist with client education initiatives designed to help employers navigate complex workplace issues, including participation in technology-supported learning and compliance programs

Candidates interested in this position should have 3+ years of labor & employment litigation experience. They should also have the ability to manage their own caseload independently. A JD from and accredited law school and an active admission to the Nevada Bar are required. Our client offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.
